Student Placement from Sheffield Hallam University Fine Art Department |

It is invaluable for our students to get outside-college experience working with professional artists in a variety of settings. In particular, working with Panni Poh Yoke Loh, has provided some of our students the opportunity to reflect upon ways in which artistic agency might confront, care for and express the critical issues raised by climate change.

Dear Panni, Thankyou for involving me in your exhibition. Its been great seeing the different stages of this exhibition. I really enjoyed helping Jeni with the sound recording at the Private View and also at the round table discussion, it was interesting learning about how sound recording works. It was good to have time with the exhibition whilst invigulating, and to see how people reacted to your work. I had some interesting conversations with people in the exhibition space, in particular one with two women who came to view the exhibition which I found really encouraging and interesting. I have met some really interesting people through helping you and feel I have learnt a lot more about the environment. This experience has really made me think about how it should be protected. Thankyou. All The Best Phoebe Phoebe Wild – second year Fine Art student at Sheffield Hallam University. |
