“A beautiful painting by Panni Poh Yoke Loh was presented to
me by the Irish Heartland at the opening of the Sheffield
Irish Festival in March 2006. 'Breath of Life' now hangs in
our Embassy in London.
To me, the colours and patterns of the painting evoke the
many cultural strands that make upour society - it
incorporates the colours of our national flag with manyother
subtle shades that add to its beauty.”

ceremonies by various spiritual groups such as the Brahma
Kumari’s, Mystic Sufi’s were in progress. This situation was
created with care and consent and was part of an ‘Art and
Spirituality’ course that I led.
